This model comes with the beveled silicone washers that seem to be preferred by the reviewers on Amazon. I found it easy to install, and have had no leaks. The red ball is easy to see (as opposed to the water meniscus that is the only indication of level in the name-brand sight glass). I'm delighted to have bought this product to replace the one we had used before.
