Brand new 3/8" NPT compressed air moisture filter desiccant dryer unit. Also included is two refills of desiccant beads. This filter / desiccant dryer removes water, oil and humidity from compressed air. The desiccant bead dryer will remove water and humidity in the compressed air. These desiccant beads change color from blue to a light pink when they are saturated and need to be changed. This has a quick release bowl for easy maintenance, also the bowl is clear and has a metal guard that provides easy viewing for contents as well as providing impact protection. Great for painting, plasma cutters, sandblasting and more! no mounting instructions or mount providedThe air filter did keep some water from coming through the line but not all. Didn't leak at first then 1 week in I heard it hissing, took it apart and the bottom of the bowl was cracked. Now looking for a better one.Seems to be made of quality materials. I'm sure it's going to do the job it was intended to do, but when I ordered it, it never even entered my mind that there was not going to be a bracket to mount this thing nor would there be any threaded holes for me to manufacture my own bracket. So for that reason it's going to only get three stars from me.Quality construction, seems to work well so far on an air line to a plasma cutter.I used this drier on my laser cutter to remove moisture from the line. Recently found glass beads in my pressure regulator and air line. The large seal on the inside degraded and let material past it. Very disappointed that this happened ruining a $50 regulator and potentially damaging other items.So far so good seems to work for me...have it attached at my blast cabinet...Works well, easy to use. Keeps air dry.Haven't installed it yet but it does seem like is really good quality for sure!
