To filter arsenic as well, I use two filters—one for arsenic, one for fluoride—by pouring filtered water from one into the other. This double filtration gives me the best-tasting water I've ever had, and it extends the lifespan of the second filter.I loved it so much that I bought four—two for the kitchen, two for upstairs.A few notes: Sometimes there's black residue at the bottom—just harmless carbon, easily poured out. Also, if the lid doesn’t close properly, reposition it carefully, ensuring the lower plastic piece sits on top rather than wedging into the carafe.Highly recommend getting fluoride+arsenic filters for great-tasting, double purified water!
