Exactly like the one I have used for 25 yearsPrice was very good & perfect fit for a replacementI bought this filter as an emergency backup filter for water that we keep in a steel tank. The water does have some dirt and rust in it. I was shocked by how much of the dirt and rust got through the filter. I would prefer if it plugged the filter up and water didn't get through rather than the dirt and sediment getting through. I've attached a photo that shows three containers of water. The first container has been filtered twice and you can easily see how dirty the water still is the second container was filtered a third time. And the smallest third container was filtered in a circular manner for over a minute to reach that level of clarity. I'm very disappointed with this filter and will be looking for an alternative that actually stops the particles from getting through. If you have rust for other small particles in your water, this may remove some of it, but obviously not all of it.Leaks from valve, installed only 3 months ago.Nice Compact filter complete with shut off valve, service wrench to easily replace the filter cartridge. I have been using 4 of this filter since 1996. I am very impressed with my drinking water for my tea, coffee, this is also connected to my icemaker. Great purchaseHaven't installed it yet but I hope it works because based on the look of the box and the scuff marks on the housing it looks used. It's supposed to be new.It fit perfectly into the existing piping. I love the transparency, I can now see when the filters need to be replaced. Well done 3M Aqua-Pure!This filter does a good job in removing sediment and rust from drinking water. I have used Aqua Pure water filters for 51 years with good results. This particular filter replaced a Cuno 100T which developed a leak in the shutoff mechanism after 37 years.The two filters (100T and the 101T) are essentially the same. Cuno was previously owned by AMF, and was purchased by MMM in recent years. I can only say good things about this filter.My original filter was installed in 2015. Four years later it started leaking at the valve on top. I purchased the same filter cause I know it would fit. I change the filter every three months and it does a great job of keeping particulates out. I really like it, but four years seems a little soon to start leaking, considering our water is not that hard.
