I received the filter completely assembled. I just took it out of the package and plug. I opened each of the filters to be sure there was not packing inside, the filters were ready for use. I noticed the gaskets were very well tied up and somehow difficult to unscrew them by being careful not to damage the plumbing. I applied some of lithium grease that made it easy to screw back and I guess will make things easier to open in a few months when I need to change the filter.The pressure gauges are a nice touch. I am planning to use the measures as guide to when to change the filters.The filters are mounted in a nice frame stainless steel on top. It looks pretty and sturdy. I installed outside, I am in Florida close to the ocean. I added a cover with insulation that straps on the sides to protect from the elements. At the first sign of corrosion, I am planning to paint the whole frame with Rust-Oil paint. I have done so with my sprinkle and pool pumps, and it makes the equipment last and keep them neat.I just installed the filter, 12 hours ago, I still have no feedback about the water quality, I will update my review as I know more.
