I got this for homebrewing. It's much easier than using a brita or pur filter. In addition, the larger filter will remove chlorine better than the high flow rate faucet filters, and cost less over time too.I use this to filter drinking water even more frequently than brewing water. It has completely replaced the faucet filter I had before.It's not clear from the product description, but this filter system comes with a 10 micron filter. If you want a finer filter, you would have to buy that separately.
