Works well! It's hard to know which products to trust these days, but I tested the water for nitrates before installing the filter and it was at 10ppm (dangerous). After installing the filter, the water was at 0ppm (or at least low enough that the test strip didn't register anything). I used Hach test strips, which have been vetted by independent researchers, so I feel pretty good about the results. The unit also looks nice, except for the white tubing (stands out against the stainless on my faucet). I chose the countertop model so I wouldn't have to put a hole on my granite, so I'll have to put up with the tubing. The water pressure is fine--I thought it might take forever to fill up my pasta pot, but it didn't take any longer than my regular faucet. Easy to install. I had to peel off a little of the plumber's tape on the spigot to rotate it to where it would stay up in the right position, but once I did that, it stays upright fine. Overall, great product!
